Why I Ride: I originally started to ride and bus to save money but I found out I really liked riding so now I ride to work as much as possible. I expected other riders to be more friendly. I have found the more fancy the bike and outfit of the rider the more unfriendly the person. This should not be.
My Commute: I live around Beechcroft Highschool so I take back roads down to the Olantangy Bike Trail. I get off of the bike trail around Columbus Park of Roses and take the back roads over to Hilliard. The only part of the rided I do not like is the 1 mile I have to ride on Fishinger Road, not fun.

Mon 2/20 30 miles   Rode to work, from work I went to parent teacher conferences, and then home. It was a nice day but it was chilly. 
Week of February 13, 2012 4 Rides  •  85 Miles
Sun 2/19 4 miles   Going to my church at Vineyard Community Center. 
Fri 2/17 27 miles   Met a nice biker in Worthington. He was like me, takes longer to get to work but we hate the traffic and like the workout. 
Wed 2/15 27 miles   Nice ride. Surprised another biker by being friendly to him. We are all in this together, let's be nice and have fun. 
Mon 2/13 27 miles   Rain pants came in handy this morning, it kept my legs a little bit warmer. It warmed up nice. 
Week of February 6, 2012 4 Rides  •  111 Miles
Sat 2/11 28 miles   Light snow on the way home. I was excited to use my new rain gear for wet riding. 
Thu 2/9 28 miles   Need to find a better eyewear for when it snows. Nice ride home but did not see ny runners or bikers on the trail. 
Tue 2/7 28 miles   What beautiful day for a bike ride. Did not see many other bikers out tonight but came home later than usual.
